Startup on Linux

Run Cadence from your local Linux desktop at Ifi, or from the logincluster, login.

TSMC 90nm GP RF Low Power

To run Cadence on Linux with TSMCs 90nm process, copy the following file initscript_tcmc90nmlp to a new catalog and run it. The new catalog will be the location of all your cadence files, including you libraries. The following commands does the trick:

mkdir tsmc90nmlp
cd tsmc90nmlp
cp /hom/mes/src/cadence/tsmc90nm_lp/initscript_tcmc90nmlp .
./initscript_tcmc90nmlp

Then you can run Cadence from the catalog you created with the startup script:

$ ./run

Cadence should be run from the login cluster

login in with the command:

ssh -Y login
